A Passion For Education & Creativity
Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Sonia experienced firsthand many of the challenges that come with growing up in a rough environment. During those formative years, music became more than a creative outlet, it became a safe space, a source of healing, and a powerful way to process emotions and life experiences. That personal connection to music planted the seed for the work she does today.

With over 15 years of experience in education and working with youth, Sonia has dedicated her career to supporting whole-child development. As a singer and songwriter, she understands the healing power of music on a deeply personal level and uses songwriting as a tool to help students name their emotions, build resilience, and strengthen communication skills, tools that support both emotional wellness and academic growth.

Her approach blends creativity with structure, giving students permission to feel while also equipping them with the skills they need to thrive. Driven by her own journey, Sonia is passionate about pouring back into youth and creating safe, affirming spaces where children can find their voices, express themselves freely, and grow with confidence.

“Can you imagine a world a world where everyone experiences emotional freedom? What a world that would be.”- Sonia Emore, Founder
