Location: Atlanta & surrounding areas (possible virtual opportunities)
Position Type: Independent Contractor
Pay: $25-$75 per session
Commission (optional): 15% of total registration revenue for any new program you help secure

 

🎤 Who We’re Looking For

We’re expanding our roster of passionate, reliable, and engaging individuals to facilitate upcoming songwriting workshops and creative camps.

We are currently hiring for two contractor-based roles:

1. Instructor Only – Facilitate songwriting sessions using our curriculum with youth, and occasionally with adults or seniors.

2. Instructor + Partnership Developer – In addition to teaching, help identify and secure new community partnerships. You'll receive a commission on total registrations from any program you bring in.

• Love working with youth or community groups

• Have experience in music, education, creative writing, or SEL (social-emotional learning)

• Are confident working with students from underserved communities or with behavioral challenges

💼 Responsibilities Instructor Only

• Facilitate songwriting classes and workshops using a pre-developed curriculum

• Create a safe, fun, and expressive learning environment

• Encourage participation, collaboration, and storytelling

• Show up prepared and on time for each session

Instructor + Partnership Developer

Includes all the above plus:

• Identify and reach out to schools, camps, youth orgs, or other groups that align with our mission

• Represent A Time To Create professionally in meetings, expos, or community events

• Receive 15% commission on total registration revenue from any new program you help secure (based on student enrollments)

🕓 What to Expect

• $25-$75 per session 

• Commission opportunities are performance-based and tied directly to new partnerships you help secure

• This is an as-needed contractor role; work is not guaranteed weekly, but you will be added to our go-to roster for upcoming classes, camps, and workshops

• Opportunities range from one-day events to multi-week school programs and summer sessions
