| Questions and Answers How many guests can you accommodate? We can accommodate up to 10 quests. There are three rooms upstairs with three twin beds in two rooms and one room with four twin beds. On the main floor there is a room with a queen bed for those unable to do stairs. If you would like the room on the main floor, arrangements must be made in advance. *Can I come earlier than 5 p.m. on Friday? You can come as early as 10 a.m. on Friday for an additional fee. Arrangements must be made in advance and there must be a minimum of four guests. Please understand that any arrival time before 5 p.m. will be considered an early arrival. *Is there easy access to the work room? How far do we have to hall all our supplies?(We call it the Creating Room) * Yes, it is very easily accessed from the garage and is on the main floor. * What do I have to bring with me for the weekend? All you need to bring with you is your crafting supplies, comfortable lounging clothes (you don't even need to get out of your jammies if you don't want to), and a toothbrush and toothpaste. Maybe you should bring a comb or hairbrush too. Ha Ha!!! We supply plenty of snacks and beverages. Breakfast is served both Saturday and Sunday. Friday evening meal is also provided. We supply your bedding, your towels for showers, bath salts for the jacuzzi tub, and shower gel soap. There is a T.V. with a DVD player In the creating room and a stereo system so you might want to bring your favorite Cd' or DVD's. We do have wireless internet so if you would like bring your laptop. What will we be served for our Friday evening and for our breakfast? Friday evening we rotate serving either Lasagna, Baked Potato bar, Chili with Corn Bread or Chicken Caesar salad. Breakfast includes Cereal, English Muffins, Bagels and Pastries along with fruit, juice and of course coffee, and milk. Breakfast Brunch includes an Egg Bake, fruit, pastries, juice, milk and coffee. There is also Hot Chocolate,Tea and Pop available at all times. *If we prefer to go out where can we go? Within a few miles radius we have Connell's Supper Club, Dana's Grill and Bar, Cancun's, or China Buffet. In the summer months-La Grander's drive-in. They make their own ice cream and onion rings. Then of course there is all of the fast food places which are all very close. If you would prefer to just make something here, you have full use of the kitchen. There is a grocery store 1/2 mile from here that has a real nice deli. *If I wanted to shop for supplies where could I go? Eau Claire has two very nice Scrapbooking shops. Both are about 20 minutes from us. Picture This and Stamps Galore. There is also a Michael's in Eau Claire, also about 20 minutes away. We do have a very basic supply of card stock and some adhesives, in case you run out and need some in a pinch. We also have a the Cotton Club quilting shop just a few miles down the road. *What if I pick a weekend I can come and your web site says it's for quilting and I want to scrapbook? We can be flexible with the weekends to a point. If you have a group of girls and you want to change the designated weekend, please call and we can work something out. We do have the Free For All Weekends that, when you come, you can plan on just about any craft being done. For the quilters however, we need to limit the number of girls because those quilters just require more space!! So, unless a weekend already has bookings, we can be flexible. Once there are bookings, the weekend is set. The first to book sets the weekend and it gets changed on the web site. *What if there is only four or five of us in our group? We charge per person. You are not required to fill all 10 spaces in order to reserve the weekend. However, there might be another group of four or five that might also book on that same weekend. We require a minimum of four for the weekend. Each guest should fill out a registration form with deposit. Please refer to 0ur Billing and Refund policy on our pricing page. *What if we don't know for sure how many can come in our group, but we want to reserve all spaces for the weekend? One person from your group can hold the weekend with a credit card number. We will reserve the weekend totally for your group. Each quest still needs to send in the registration form and deposit in advance. If you do not reach the whole ten spaces, we would need to know at least 3-4 weeks before, so we could open it up to others. *How far in advance should I reserve my weekend? We are taking bookings a year in advance. If you know you want to make your stay an annual or bi-annual event just book ahead or rebook at the time of your weekend stay to guarantee your choice of weekends. *If I want a massage or pedicure, what do I have to do? You just let us know and we will book that for you. We have a wonderful massage therapist that comes on site and does the massages. At this point, the pedicures are done about a mile away at Crimper's Salon. You will be paying them direct at the time of the massage or pedicure. *Do I have to scrapbook, stamp or quilt when I'm there? No, This is a get-away weekend for you. You can do whatever craft you would like or just sit and read a book if you would like. Whatever your need is. We are here to pamper you. Relax and go home refreshed!!! *Will someone be there when I arrive? Yes, one of us will be here nearly all the times. We only do what some would call "hosted weekends". Either myself (Jeane) or my daughter Lori will be here to assist you whenever needed. *Can we smoke? We do not allow smoking in the building. However you can smoke on the screened in porch. *Can we have alcoholic beverages? Yes, we do not provide them, however you can bring your own, if you wish.
